Blot up excess with absorbent towel.
If spot persists, apply specialized spotter thoroughly without over using
solution.
Agitate area: Blot up with towel or sponge.
If spot persists, consult professional cleaner

Heavy grease and oil based spills- Gum, Fresh
Glue, Tar, Grease, Ink, Oil, Wax, Fresh Paint

Remove or scrape excess material.
Apply non-flammable dry cleaning solvent. Agitate area: Blot up with towel
or sponge. Repeat steps. Brush pile gently.
If spot persists, consult professional cleaner.

Protein based foods, starches and sugars, blood,
milk, eggs, ice cream, salad dressing, candy, chocolate, old pet urine spots,
vomit

Remove excess by blotting with absorbent towel
or scraping. Apply specialized spotter or mild detergent. Apply ammonia.
Agitate area: Place absorbent towel on spot, place heavy books on top to
weigh down for two to four hours. If spot persists consult professional
cleaner.

Beverages, fresh urine, fresh mustard, tea,
soft drinks, wine, coffee, beer, fresh pet urine or excrement, Kool-Aid

Remove excess by blotting with absorbent towel or
scraping. Apply specialized spotter or mild detergent. Apply vinegar.
Agitate area: Blot up thoroughly with towel. If necessary repeat steps
2-5.
Leave absorbent towel on spot, place heavy books to weigh down for 2-4
hours.
If spot persists, consult professional cleaner.
